An afternoon at the pool

Jack and Alex love the water! They spent an afternoon practicing their swimming (well, Jack practiced - he's self-motivated! Alex spashes - and "will work for food" - eating being her passion!)...

Jack is Three!

Jack got up this morning and excitedly announced, "I'm not two any more!" He had a great day - complete with baseball uniform (including cleats!) and a "pick up" baseball game in the back yard! We ended with a baseball cake... Quite a celebration! On Sunday he continues his baseball-birthday with a party at Dodger Stadium (Erin has a suite for the game), but alas I have to work...

More Wild Animal Park Sleep Over

Taylor spent the whole time taking notes on everything - animals, people, activities, attitudes and actions! And Alex, of course, delighted in the stimulation and had no intention of going to sleep and missing out on anything!

Wild Animal Park Sleepover!

This year we had TWO tents at the Wild Animal Park Sleep Over: Erin and Ron and kids joined me and Teresa's three for another "Roar and Snore"/"Beastly Bedtime" adventure! I'm not sure what was the bigger attraction: the tent itself - which commanded much attention! - or the elephants right outside our tent! And then, of course, the rabbits were as fascinating as the rhinos! Apart from the fact that no one got much sleep (and it wasn't the lions' roars that kept us awake, although that was good entertainment for the middle of the night!), we all had great good fun!
