Spirituality and the Arts

Messiah has offered a terrific series on "Spirituality and the Arts" during Lent this year, including snippets of art history, music, architecture, Mayan culture, and poetry. We culminated our series with a daylong "hands on" workshop which included an exhibit of parishioners' art, Tibetan Prayer flags, poetry, Russian Egg painting, Mayan calendar collages, video-editing, book binding, and Taize music. Great good fun was had by all!

A leisurely afternoon...

A leisurely walk to the library ("kid heaven"!) and then home for more grand adventure: Jack likes to cook... and Alex likes to eat! It makes for a great combination!

A Mini-Family Reunion!

Ray and Chris and GG drove down to see everyone - and Kathi flew in from North Carolina! We had a delightful few days together, and the kids got to meet and/or get reacquainted with some of their extended family! A fun time was had by all!
