Veteran's Day Adventure Part II
After a 5:30 a.m. wake-up and two bowls of ice cream for breakfast (what are grandparents for?!!), Coco and I head out to pick Jack up for a day at "Fo Fo Figilly's" children's indoor play area. A great time was had by all (and Granny was exhausted!)...

A Day at Disneyland
It was a beautiful day today - low 80's, sunny and clear. Erin, Jack, and I went to Disneyland, and Jack had a ball! His favorite word was "Again!" - and again, and again, and again! Fortunately the park wasn't crowded, the lines were non-existent or moved quickly, and he was able to do things again - and again! and again! His big favorites: the Jungle Boat Ride and the horse-drawn trolley up and down Main Street. Jack lasted an amazing FIVE hours, so the ride home should have been one long snooze!

Halloween!
My comments on this post (and the preceding) are all mixed up, and I can't seem to edit them to make sense because The Great Hoo-Ha in Cyberspace won't take my changes! Oh, well... YOU figure it out!
Jack and his best friend, Avery, before the parade at school

...and Taylor, who is growing up so quickly - and friends are a larger and larger part of her world!

Trey, the Banana...

All dressed up for the Big Event!
Coco, our bride (the groom has changed three times so far: Coach Chris yielded to Daddy, and as of tonight the chosen one was Trey!)

Women's Retreat at Mt. Calvary
I've just returned from our annual "Women's Retreat" at Mt. Calvary in the hills above Santa Barbara: a beautiful venue! I often feel it's an "island floating in a sea of clouds" - and the skies are so black and clear you feel like you can stretch out your hand and touch the stars! Beautiful gardens, good food, wonderful gathering-of-women... What more could one ask?!! Here are some scenes from our weekend - a combination of hard work and play!
