Jack is fascinated by baseball. Lately he has been "practicing" his fielding moves, squatting, pounding his mitt, and running madly to some imagined place where the ball might be going and he can make a catch! It's hysterical!

French Fry joins the Fourticq Family!

The Fourticq Family has just acquired a ten week old Peekapoo puppy they have named French Fry. He is a delightful addition to the family, and everyone seems enchanted! Of course, it's fatiguing being carried around all the time!

Chinese Garden at the Huntington Library

They have opened the new Chinese Garden at the Huntington Library (The Garden of Flowing Fragrance). A Chinese Garden is composed of carefully arranged scenes, with several key elements playing an important part: architecture; water, rocks, and plants; literature and the arts. Poems and names for different places in the garden have been chosen with care ("Terrace of the Jade Mirror" for example). It's a beautiful, peaceful place to visit!
