More Wild Animal Park Sleep Over

Taylor spent the whole time taking notes on everything - animals, people, activities, attitudes and actions! And Alex, of course, delighted in the stimulation and had no intention of going to sleep and missing out on anything!

Wild Animal Park Sleepover!

This year we had TWO tents at the Wild Animal Park Sleep Over: Erin and Ron and kids joined me and Teresa's three for another "Roar and Snore"/"Beastly Bedtime" adventure! I'm not sure what was the bigger attraction: the tent itself - which commanded much attention! - or the elephants right outside our tent! And then, of course, the rabbits were as fascinating as the rhinos! Apart from the fact that no one got much sleep (and it wasn't the lions' roars that kept us awake, although that was good entertainment for the middle of the night!), we all had great good fun!

Mini-beach vacation

Ron was out of town, and Erin and I took the kids to a friend's beach house. We had great good fun - even though the weather was June-Gloom-in-May (probably good for me!)...

Celebrations!

May is the month of celebrations! We celebrated Taylor's First Communion, Mother's Day (with a very special gift for his mom, made by Trey, who wants to be an artist), and Alex's first birthday! Come to think of it, we could also celebrate Jack's potty training, but somehow I don't have an appropriate picture! Suffice it to say that, with the help of Trey's hand-me-down underwear and Granny's carefully drawn baseballs on a few generic white pair, Jack has decided that yes, it is all right to give up his diapers!
